Water shortages continue to make the press, this time via some hapless circus clowns in Surrey who have been banned from throwing water or squirting it out of plastic flowers because it violates the local drought order...

Ridiculus it is, as banned usage of water makes only 1% of the total demand. As per the latest report on water shortage, there are three main causes of water shortage 1. shortfall of rainwater, 2. Increase in domestic demand in southern region due to many reasons and finally 3rd which accounts for maximum wastage is Water leakage(Especially in Thames Water area).
Water companies are not able to meet their target saving due to inactiveness or due to lack of funds.
It is time for water companies and local councils to go for innovation and promotion of technically better appliances.
